Meeting You Where You Need Support
Individual Therapy
I most often find myself working with individuals, couples, and families navigating:
Singular, chronic and/or complex traumas, PTSD, & stressors that make daily life feel increasingly difficult to sustain
Major life transitions (retirement or separation from active duty service, marriage, divorce, career shifts, grief/loss/death, major moves, etc.)
Family dysfunction, estrangement, or conflict; attachment wounds
Recognizing themselves within obsessive-compulsive loops but don’t feel accurately represented by normative depictions of ‘OCD’
Trying to reconcile external ‘achievements’/’high functioning’ with internal feelings of inadequacy, hopelessness, or deficiency
Identity confusion or exploration, chronic shame and self-worth struggles
Relational and/or sexual dissatisfaction, dysfunction, conflict or those having trouble finding or maintaining relationships that feel mutually fulfilling
Feeling ‘stuck’ or stagnant despite years of therapy/‘self improvement;’ feeling as though your thoughts, feelings, behavioral changes, or lifestyle don’t match your efforts
I am particularly passionate about supporting those recovering from relational, familial, systemic, and institutional forms of harm, as well as those seeking deeper understanding, healing, and connection within themselves and their relationships.
Rather than reducing clients to diagnoses, symptoms, or productivity-based measures of “wellness,” I approach therapy through a lens of curiosity, context, and complexity. My top priority is connecting human-to-human, approaching those in front of me through an intersectional, relational lens.
I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels humanizing, affirming, and non-performative. One where clients can safely unpack internalized shame, challenge oppressive narratives, and engage in meaningful growth without feeling pathologized for the ways they have learned to survive. I am not only willing to meet you in your discomfort, I’m going to sit in it with you.
I help facilitate healing using a blend of trauma-informed, relationally-oriented practices alongside practical, reputable interventions based in psychology, sociology, anthropology and neuroscientific research.
I work to help clients understand themselves within the contexts of their relationships, identities, bodies, environments, lived experiences, and the systems impacting their lives.
I believe that in order to make meaningful change, it has to happen according to your timeline, readiness, and trust in the process.
Couples & Family Therapy
Relationships can be some of our greatest sources of connection, meaning, and healing—and also some of the places where we experience the deepest pain. Whether you're navigating recurring conflict, emotional distance, ruptures in trust, questions about reunification, shifts in intimacy, or simply feeling stuck in familiar patterns, I approach this work with the belief that relationships deserve curiosity rather than blame.
Together, we explore the broader contexts shaping your experiences—including attachment histories, family dynamics, identities, life transitions, cultural influences, trauma, and the environments and systems that impact the way you connect with one another.
Integrating trauma-sensitive interventions drawn from attachment theory, systems theory, and contemporary relational approaches. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, accountable, vulnerable, and understood. Healing is not about eliminating conflict or forcing reconciliation, but about increasing clarity, connection, and intentionality within relationships.
Whether you are hoping to rebuild trust, strengthen intimacy, navigate family estrangement, process longstanding wounds, or discern what moving forward together—or separately—might look like, I am committed to meeting you where you are. I believe that lasting change happens according to the readiness, trust, and capacity of those involved, and I strive to honor the pace and complexity that meaningful relational work often requires.
